The 28.octobre 1935, Carl Theil wrote to his friend Martin Buber:

In October 1939
Hanna Schmidt sent greetings to her brother Hugo Schmidt, held prisoner at that time by the GESTAPO of Weimar, recommending the name of a swiss medical specialist
from Basle, Switzerland - whose publications on MUSTARD gas had been of public interest twenty years ago.....?
Why would anyone write this to an inmate / prisoner of the GESTAPO during their weeklong interrogation sessions? Would it not be equal to: telling it directly the GESTAPO ?
And why would anybody speak of any medical implications concerning mustardgas poisoning ...?
